California voters approved the Rebuild California Plan, the largest commitment to building new roads, new schools, safe housing and flood control ever made by any state.

Passage of the Rebuild California Plan marks a milestone for our state. It’s more than triple the size of the historic state water project championed by Gov. Pat Brown in 1960.

The Rebuild California Plan will make a real difference to the lives of millions of Californians, who will find it easier to get to work, will send their children to better schools, will live in safer, more affordable housing and will live with less fear of catastrophic floods.

This victory took a lot of hard work by people throughout California, people who set aside their differences to achieve something for the future of this marvelous state.

To all of you, I offer my congratulations on a job well done – and my most heartfelt thanks.
